I have been trying to access a website all weekend.  This is a company that my business does business with.  I wanted to check on an order that I placed with them...I am getting the message that reads:  YOUR CONNECTION IS NOT PRIVATE.  ATTACKERS MAY BE TRYING TO STEAL YOUR INFORMATION.

This message appeared out of the blue on Friday.  I have this company bookmarked so it was always easy to access their site.  Can anyone give me some feedback, thanks.

Did you try not using the bookmark? This has happened to me. Try just typing into the website the old fashioned way. Hope this works for you.

 Is the message from your antiviral program?

If it is, then pay attention to it.

Do you have a phone number for the company you can call?

I have had that exact message twice, but it also said the webpage was coming through on Internet Explorer.  I had not searched for it on IE, so I have no idea how that happened.  I quickly closed the page, then went to EDGE and searched for the website again.

My antiviral program is not covering Internet Explorer because I don't use it anymore. I did run my program to make sure I didn't get a bug.  No bugs.

Other than something similar happening to you, we need more information from you to determine the problem you are having.

@Foxxee

@DJP

I have tried typing in the website after it failed using the bookmark.

The messages come in when I type in their web address...it looks like I am going to the site but then the messsage pops up.

I have tried using Safari and Chrome.

I cleared that website from the cache, and I also read on line to make sure my OS was up to date so currently I am updating the OS.

This is the only site that gives me this message/warning.  I did contact the company via facebook, and asked for customer service to contact me in the morning.

thanks for the replies.

That website might have a bug.  Best to stay away for now.  Hoping your Facebook contact will help you.

Thanks for the replies - I did panic a bit this morning...I called the toll free number for the company, the message said no longer a working number.  My first thought was they closed their doors and did not tell anyone.  I have an open order with them and startedworrying about how I was going to fill that order for my customer.  I sent an email to the only address I had and thankfully someone responded.

Their entire site went down late Friday afternoon and most likely will not be up and running until sometime on Tuesday, with luck.

I bet that entire company is in panic mode, and a holiday week as well.
