Nook Tablet?

If you have the Nook Tablet all the apps that are pre-loaded can you delete them? Thinking of getting the Nook Tablet from qvc I really do not care for all those apps just wondering if I could delete them. I like B&N price of $249 but there return policy is short. If you have the Nook Tablet are you happy with it.
