Nook Color Screen Damage

So after much deliberation and buying both a Kindle 3 and NC, I finally opened my NC as that is my final decision. I weighed the positive and negatives for both units.

So I just opened it, plugged it in, turned it on...and it seems there is a pixel missing or a piece of dirt under the screen in the top left 1/4. It's really no big deal I suppose, but I know it will bother me everytime I turn it on. Naturally my eye will keep going right there.

So, back it goes to B&N tomorrow for an exchange.

Has anyone else experienced something like this...and am I better off with a Kindle 3 eInk screen?

Also, if I download a book tonight so I can start reading to see if I even like reading on this colorful screen, will this device count as one of my 6 available (B&N max) even if it goes back for an exchange?
