I am going to switch from a Verizon contract to a no contract phone. I'm having trouble deciding which way to go, and was wondering what all your thoughts would be on this. I would be getting 3 phones...for me, my husband, and my daugher. My daughter and I are very heavy texters. My daughter alone has about 4-5000 texts a month, but it doesn't cost anything extra under our contract because we have unlimited everything. Problem is that it costs nearly $100 a month for every phone for unlimited everything. I am trying to decide between straight talks unlimited plan of $45 a month or tracphone. If I'm understanding tracphone, all those texts will eat up minutes, but don't know at what rate. Also, does anyone know if you can get on the internet with a tracphone without difficulty, and does it take away from your minutes? What about Straight Talks unlimited plan? Any problems with getting on the internet. We all do a lot of internet browsing on our phones in addition to all the texting. Phone calls is what we do the very least of. Hardly any actual phone calls. Was thinking about tracphone cause they seem to have decent phones for a cheap price and on easy pay. Smartphones for Straight Talk would be an added expense right off the bat. We all have nice smartphones, but of course with Verizon, you cannot use their phones with any other plan. What about AT&T no contract with unlimited service? Anyone have any experience with that? Thanks so much for any input you can provide.
