New Stuff Coming From Apple

As of 6:30am ET today, the Apple Store on-line is still closed.

The ""new stuff"" is an ""el-cheapo"" version of the iMac. Everything else remains the same.

Not surprised. Big reveals usually get a press conference weeks in advance to create hype.

I think the site was down for routine maintenance, at least that was the message that I saw online yesterday. Like someone else said, new products get a special conference and major announcement. This usually occurs in the fall (sept or oct). They will probably announce the new products around the same time they release the new operating systems Yosemite for Mac, iOS 8 for I devices, which are expected to both be released in the fall.

The price certainly isn't cheap, but the specs are very low end. A computer featuring a 1.4 GHz Intel i5 dual core processor selling for over $1000 is a bit out there.
