New Laptop Software Question...

My new HP laptop is coming in today. Question, I bought my own software for Microsoft Office/Student 2010 edition from Sam's. Should I uninstall the version that came with the computer before installing my own Office CD?

I'm also going to uninstall Norton that comes with it and install Kaspersky. Do I need to turn off Kaspersky before downloading my new Microsoft Office CD?
