New IOS system on ipad

I couldn't finish fully installing IOS 6 on my ipad 3 because of apple id issues. It would not take my apple password. I wound up installing it but without icloud because of the password issues. I had to make a new password which I did. I then went into Settings/iCloud to try and update that. iCloud shows an old email address and a password that is ******. Can anyone tell me how to change the Apple ID and password in iCloud?
