New All-In One Computer Advice, please...

I'm looking at getting an all-in one. My 7 year old desktop died about 8 months ago and I miss having a desktop. I don't enjoy my laptop as my primary computer. I use my computer for general use, surfing, emails, storing photos & documents, no gaming. It's just me using the computer. Which processor should I look for? Is the I series still the best way to go? My laptop is I5. I've always had a Dell so I thought I would say with that brand. I do not want a touch screen. Any advise would be appreciated. I just seem lost at looking at all the specs I am seeing in the online ads. Thank you!
