Netflix $7.99 Question

We already get dvds by mail we belong to Blockbuster one movie out at a time and we have blockbuster on demand. The $7.99 plan on Netflix what kind of movies do you get is it worth $7.99 husband was thinking of joining Netfix so he could watch shows 24/7 if anyone can help answer my question I thank you. I'm happy what we have now but husband can watch movies 24/7
