Need help blocking e-mails in MS Outlook

I have an e-mail address that I've been trying to block on my home computer's Microsoft Outlook e-mail system for several days. It's an individual (not a company - I know they can change parts of their e-mails to get through). I tried using the Junk Mail/Block feature and still had her e-mails come through. Tried creating a Rule in Outlook where anytime that e-mail address comes in, it would be automatically sent to the Delete folder. I think she's Rasputen or something, the e-mails are still coming through. Any suggestions?

I've tried and tried to block emails and the junk, etc. from Outlook.  No can do.  Every time someone tries to improve and give a new look, it makes things worse, no better.

I right click on the email, scroll down to "junk" and then click on "block sender."

Karnerblue, that's exactly what I did. I've used that for spam e-mail that I've gotten in the past. It just doesn't work for her e-mail! LOL

Re: Need help blocking e-mails in MS Outlook

You might try going to Outlook.com and logging into your email account. Go to 'options' and choose filters, then reporting. There is an option there for a junk mail filter that allows you to send anything from a sender not in your contact list to your junk mail folder. Make that selection then delete this person from your contact list. Now go to options, safe and blocked senders. Choose safe senders list and see if you've added this person to your list of safe senders at some point. If so, delete them. Good luck!

@morganjen, Often what appears at first glance to be the sender's email address isn't really the source of the messages.  You need to click on "View Message Source."  (To find "View Message Source" in Outlook, either right-click or control-click if you haven't opened the message, or look at the drop-down menu to the right of the word "Reply" if you have opened the message.)  You'll see what's called the "full headers" of the message.

It might look like goobledygook...  but just take some time to look at all the "from" information.  That will show you where the messages actually originate.

Next, in your mail settings go into "Options" and "Blocked senders."  You can add specific email addresses or entire domains (the portion you see after the "@" in an email address) to block.  Be sure to "Save" after you've added addresses or domains.
