I have a Cannon printer Pixma MG6320 I have had it for many years and just recently won't print anything it jsut keeps printing out blank paper. I have contaced Cannon and they had me do a ton of things to try to get it to print out but nothing works and I do have full ink cartridges, so they sent me a code for a discount for a new one. ( I'm sure manyy companies do this)But, I did lke this printer and it was very affordable at the time. I think I bought it in 2012. So I don't do a ton of printing but I don 't know how long printers are supposed to last. So I will be looking for another printer but the ink cartdriges are so expensive!

@cuddlesmama, printers are disposable now. I just got mine for $99. I think a full set of ink runs about $79. And while I have seen people complain about how much ink they use, usually reviewers who have had other brands of printers will say the Canon uses less than those other brands.
It's sorta like TV's now. All the TV repair places near me closed down after everybody changed over to LED tv's. I took a small one in to our guy and he said you can't work on them. We held out for the longest with a tube TV, but since the repair place closed we finally changed over to LED.

Reduce the amount of ink you use by selecting fast or draft before printing out a document. You'll find the choices in the printer window that pops up when you do a print job. I find the fast mode, when using a Mac, looks fine for most print jobs.
