I really, really, really hate autoplay anyway, but I live with it, UNLESS it cuts off the end of the show I am watching. I watch a lot of mysteries, and they keep cutting off the show's wrap up in order to autoplay into the next episode. I am on the phone with Amazon, and they are trying to blame it on my ROKU. No dice, my HULU and CBS All Access' autoplay features work just fine, thank you very much. Grrrrrrrr

How to disable auto-playing video and audio on the new Fire TV home screen interface

1. From the home screen, scroll to the Settings section.
2. Scroll to and select the “Preferences” menu option.
3. Scroll down and select the “Featured Content” option.
4. Turn off the “Allow Video Autoplay” and the “Allow Audio Autoplay” options.

Thanks anyway, but I have a ROKU player. Neither the ROKU nor the Amazon app has a way to let you do so.

Yippee!! In the Amazon Help Community I found out you can do it from the Amazon website: 

To manage Auto Play from the Prime Video website: 

1. Go to Account & Settings
2. Open the Playback tab in the top menu.
3. Toggle Auto Play to ON or OFF.

Ugh. Scratch that, it doesn't work, at least on my ROKU.
