Thank you all so much for your kind replies. I think you've given me enough confidence to try it myself. The one thing that has me worried is setting up a new email address. But I'm hoping it won't be so bad once I get into it.

You don't need to set up a new e-mail address. If you already have an e-mail address, use it. Do a Google search before proceeding and see what is required.

Re: Need Help With New iPad Air

As I said earlier, my email address is for my computer using the local telecommunications company. So I'm thinking I may have to set up a Yahoo account for it to go into Mail on the iPad. Am I correct? I'm sure that's not going to be difficult either; I'm just such a chicken when it comes to trying new things.

Thanks again, everyone! {#emotions_dlg.wub}

Hi, NanaLinda! As glb613 said, you can use the existing email account used on your computer. It's done in Settings--->Mail, Contacts, Calendars, then "Add Account" and choose "Other" if it's not one of the ones you'll see listed.

Hey, NanaLinda, as dooBdoo said you don't have to set up a new email account! I have my work email, my personal email, my husband's email on my ipad.
