Need Help! VIZIO 2.0 Streaming Bluetooth Sound Stand

I accidentally pushed the Bluetooth button instead of the volume, and the sound went off and lights flashed and the sound went away. I tried everything, checked everything, reread the manual, unplugged and plugged back in, Googled my brains out, and still no sound. This happened once before when there was a power outage, that time the volume stayed loud all the time! I turned it off, back on and there was no sound, period. It was like that for a few days when suddenly it was going to work again.

Re: Need Help! VIZIO 2.0 Streaming Bluetooth Sound Stand

I figured it out! Press Input, and 12 dots will light up, the first 2 will be flashing. Then press again and the next pair will flash. Press until your input source comes up (mine are dot pair 7 & 8, Digital Audio Optical) and I have my sound back! Apparently, when you press Bluetooth you have to reset it again when you go back to the optical cable. Phew!

The answer to almost all setting questions like this is to get into the menu and make changes.  Every newer TV I've owned comes with a remote that has a menu or settings button on it.  They also have a source or input button to change the source of signal to the TV.  If you want to watch a DVD or stream from a device, you need to change the source.
