With all the advancements in technology, I have yet to see a Bluetooth speaker to be used in addition to the regular sound bar for a TV. I would like to set a small Bluetooth speaker near me while I watch TV, so that I do not have to turn up the volume on the TV. I don't want to lose the regular sound coming from the Sound Bar, though. Is there a product that does both?

I think the tv must be BT compatible as well as wi-fi. A few of my neighbors have the TV/BT speaker(s) setup.
I have the Amazon DOT which came w/cables to hook up to a wi-fi/BT compatible tv. I have BT speakers but my tv in the living room is over 20 yrs old & the tv in my bedroom is around 6 yrs old.
UPDATE: I called my SO as he has a "smart" home. He said you need a "smart" tv if you want to use BT speakers w/your tv.

How is your sound bar connected to your tv? Does your tv have bluetooth capability? There are plenty of bluetooth speakers available, but their distance from the source can limit their capabilities.
There also can be a sound delay if they are not properly paired to the tv sound. My tv has a separate setting to make sure my tv sound is synchronized with my satellite digital sound.
More info would help.

Some TVs have Bluetooth, but if yours does not, @care04, you can do it with an adapter that plugs into the TV and sends out a Bluetooth signal. I bought one for my dad for exactly this purpose.
I picked one up from Amazon and will check my history to see if I can get the name. It needs to plug into an electrical outlet near the TV (I had to buy a new powerstrip to install it because all the outlets were being used) and then plugs into the TV audio system.

Okay, @care04, here's the name of the item I purchased: mnxo 3.5mm Portable Stereo Audio Wireless Bluetooth Transmitter for TV, iPod, MP3/MP4 (BT01-001).
It was easy to set up and works well when my dad remembers/bothers to use it. One note - there is a delay in the audio, so if you're in the room with someone else close to the TV and you have your Bluetooth speaker across the room, there can be an echo effect. You can also use a Bluetooth headset with the box, which would eliminate the echo effect. My dad hates headphones, so I got him a basic Bluetooth speaker.

What you need is a type or wireless speaker. They don't need to be Bluetooth but, if you can connect a Bluetooth adapter on your TV, there are more options for a Bluetooth speaker.
I have a Bose Soundlink speaker I use with my portable devices and it's great. I recently move a larger TV to my bedroom and needed something for speakers. My TV has a headphone jack, I connected it to the Bose using a small stereo headphone cable and it sounds great. If you can't find a Bluetooth speaker or wireless speaker to work, try connecting your TV via the headphone jack to a portable speaker. You will have a thin cable but, you can always wind it up when not in use. This is not ideal but, it will solve the problem.
