I used to use Tinypic.com, but they've changed the way it works. Now I'm not able to download my pics to Internet sites. Anyone have a simple way?

Download or upload? I really makes a difference.

I'm trying to copy some of the pics in "my pictures" to add to some of my posts on this message board. Does that make it any clearer?

I use Tinypic to copy my pics in "my pictures" to post in the forums. I just went to the website based on what you said and it has not changed.

1. When you go to Tinypic.com, there is a box that says Upload Images & Video

2. When I click on the Browse button, it takes me to My Pictures folder ( I have an HP laptop running MS 7)

3. I choose the picture that I want to copy and choose Open

4. It takes me back to the Upload Images & Video screen and fills in the File name with the URL to that picture

5. I then click the Upload Now button. Sometimes TinyPic will pop up a short video that you have to watch to get a code to enter before the site will continue with the upload. They say it's to be sure you are basically a real person trying to upload.

6. Once it uploads, I click on the View Full Size Image link

7. Since I use a mouse, I do a right click, copy, and paste it in the forum post

8. After I hit enter so the picture posts, I have to go back and edit out the HREF link stuff that gets copied into the post.

I just went through these steps and chose a picture of Roasted Cauliflower I had posted on another thread.

Fortune: No need to be so rude. You could have provided more information initially (the information that you have provided in answer to glb613 and my questions) and saved us a lot of effort in attempting to assist you with your picture download problem.

Wow! I'm soooooooooooo sorry I sounded rude in my post!!!!!!!!!!! I really am so grateful to everyone who has tried to help me. Sometimes e-mail sounds perfunctory when the sender really doesn't mean it to. I would never be rude to someone who is taking the time to provide helpful info. Never!!!

Fortune: For what it's worth, I didn't take anything you wrote as being 'rude'...strange how things can be so easily misunderstood, isn't it?

Re: Need Help Downloading Pics

This easiest place I have my pictures is Imgur. Just one click on the computer button icon and then then the pic off my picture file easy peasy and no annoying adverts.
