That's totally free, not a free trial...free-free.
I am not a fan of CNET download.com. You can sometimes get unwanted free programs with a download.
Microsoft Word and Excel should has templates that you can download. These should be safe.

Google Sheets is another free database. There are some templates that might serve your needs. It’s free.

make yourself a google spreadsheet with the contacts info, it's pretty easy to get going with and free
