Does anyone know of a good, simple, FREE, database download I could use to keep track of personal contacts as well as household business contacts (plumber, HACV, handyman, etc.)? I need to to be easy to use (I am old and now slow to learn these things with all the fancy whistles & bells) - just a good basic method to save this type of info. I used ACT years ago, but it is way too expensive now for the little use it will get. TIA

I use my phone for all my contacts.
You could probably use Google Sheets, a free spreadsheet application like Microsoft Excel.
Or a good old Rolodex or address book.

Are you using a desktop, laptop, tablet or phone? Apple or Windows or Android? Or a combination?

I am not a fan of cell phones, I have a an old flip Tracfone for outbound emergency use only and don't even give out the phone number to anyone. So, I am not interested in using a phone for my contacts. Thanks for sharing info about Google sheets, I already have Excel. I have used a Rolodex and address book but am specifically looking for a FREE, simple database. I guess I should have been more clear. Thanks for responding - I appreciate it.

There's a free download at Download dot CNET dot com. Search:
Efficient Address Book Free Portable
That's totally free, not a free trial...free-free.

I use Comcast as my internet and email provider. There is a contact folder within the email that can be set up as an address book. Do you have something of this sort already readily available to you? By the way, I still use a small hand written rolodex also because sometimes it is easier for me to just reach for that instead of opening up the lap top and signing into email. Just because it's technology does not always mean it is faster or easier IMO--Karen

What device are you using? Are you on a desktop computer with Windows?
