Need An iPod Docking Station

I  have a  ipod touch 32GB   an older model and I can't find a docking station for it any where? Did thy stop making them? I have the wide plug that  you plug into it. Anyone have any info on this that you can share? Thanks

pretty sure you can still get adapters for the plugs so you can put one on and then use the more updated docks. my last (older version) IPOD came with several adaptors.

I would check Amazon for a adapter plug.

Re: Need An iPod Docking Station

They discontinued the model with the 32-pin charger several years ago, so a new docking station that uses a 32-pin charger will be hard to find. Your best bet will be a used or refurbished model.

If you don't need an actual docking station, you may be able to find an adapter, but most docking stations won't be able to fit an adapter.

The fact that Apple uses proprietary charging cords is one of my least favorite things about their products. I hate that they change something as simple as a charging cable or a sound port for earphones, forcing us all to buy new cables and adapters or pay to replace devices.

@Alison Wonderland , totally agree about Apple changing adapters.  Pure money grab.

I had an issue with my MacBook Pro and needed an adaptor to fix it...one that came with non Apple brands.  The help person at Apple told me to buy it, use it and return it.  I borrowed one instead.

If OP poster has a community FB buy and sell, post there.  Lots of people probably have them hanging around the house.  LM
