NEED HELP BADLY

My husband was working on a document, and when he went to print it, it ended up on the desktop - covering the entire desktop, and now we can't get it off. I have done a system restore, and nothing seems to work. He has vista operating system. It is possible for him to get on the internet, his mail, etc., but we can't get that document off the screen. We can't even get up to the corner at the red X. Can anyone help me please? I would really appreciate it, and will check back in about an hour to see if anyone knows what I can do. Thank you to anyone who can suggest something to do about this. Terra
