@dooBdoo  You are so kind!  Great minds think a lot alike!  I spent yesterday doing that.  I read and read and finally realized that you have to do it in settings AND in ICloud and Keychain for every device to recognize it.  

Yes, I do not want the browser to fill in the names automatically.  Still there are some passwords I don't want even in keychain.  I also went through the passwords and knocked out duplicates and that took a long time too.

I am better now, and thanks for pointing that out, but still there should be a better way!  THANK YOU SO MUCH!  Now I wish I'd waited for you to tell me how!!!  LOL!!!!  I'm sure this will help others as well.

I'm at a point where I can't be lazy about all of this!

@dooBdoo  Thank you and I'm surpised I figured it out.  The information is out there, but most places don't tell you ALL the steps and that they have to be taken in ALL the devices.

My early years were in the PC world (from 1982!) so sometimes I am not on firm footing Mac-wise!  LOL!!!!  At least I have an Apple Watch that will let me know if my heart stops beating so I don't have to read the obits every morning!  Now isn't that progress?   LOL!!!!

I had my laptop in for repairs and now all my passwords and bookmarks are wiped clean.    I'm having to update just about everything.  What a mess.

A friend suggested getting Last Pass .....   anyone familiar with this one?

I write my passwords down in a small notebook. This is still getting out of control. There’s just too many accounts. I have to constantly look them up.
