I am planning to replace my 2015 Air soon.  No problems yet (aside from not being able to access some sites completely).  Since I mainly use for internet, online banking, email, YouTube, I think the "baseline" model is good enough for me.  I have photos but not thousands and thousands to store.

You may already know this but if you buy through Apple, you can trade-in your old one. I think someone also told me they were able to do this through Best Buy, although I think she got the trade-in in the form of a Best Buy card or credit for $200-250.  At Apple I got the trade-in off the price of the new computer.

I'm in much the same boat.  Although with the updates getting more and more complicated, I may get more storage space than I had originally thought.

I've never had a Mac, but have an iphone and ipad.  Love both of them, but not quite sure I'm ready to give up my Windows on my desktop.

Thanks but I am too late.  Model year 2015 no longer qualifies for a trade-in.

I have a tracfone and an Amazon fire tablet.  I love my laptop and I know how you feel about your Widows.  It's what we get used to I guess...

@bargainsgirl Thanks. I didn't know there were cut off dates.

@cindyNC - the MacBook air is sooooooo easy. Easpecially since you already have an iPhone and iPad. I don't miss windows at all.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I'm a HUGE Macbook Air fan and considering replacing my current one as well! An updated model (M4) is supposably in the works - may be announced/avialable in the coming weeks! You can't go wrong with Apple! Smiley Happy

@cindyNC I have had MacAir models since 2011.  I love them so much and they are compatible with my IPhone and IPad and all other Mac products.  The Air is a joy to use and IPads are fun but for can never replace the Air.

We have a Mac desktop, nice but the Air is better. . .

We keep our things pretty current trading them in, and feel in the long run that is a good way to go and stay out of trouble.
