My Mac AirBook died and I need to get the data off it as I didn't do any back-upping previous. I know, stupid me. I will take it to the Mac store to have that done and then leave it for recycle. My question---Can data from a Mac be put on something that can be transfered to PC ? Should I take my external hard drive with me? My problem with my Mac is from the hinge breaking. I have a white screen as a result. It's a 2008 and I know that was a big problem back then. Any tips would be great.
thanks---
