totally different!! I'm lost.

I got my macbook pro in the mail today. It got here quick from China.

I figured how to switch my wallpaper, and navigate around the net, and set up my mail. Other than that I'm lost. My sister and I have a disagreement maybe one of you can settle it. She thinks that you can only go to the genius bar at the apple store if you have an issue like your computer crashes or a technical issue. I was under the impression that you could go if you're a new mac user and need help learning how to use it.
