Mac Book Pro question

I love my Iphone AND Ipad. I want a MacBook Pro next year. I have used AOL for years. Piggybacking my high speed provider. Can I use AOL with Apple or is that asking for trouble? Viruses etc. Can I keep my email address. I have had it for years too. I know this are probably stupid questions. Also can you use CD's or DVD's with the Mac Book Pro?
