I received mine yesterday and was playing around with it last night. When you set up the tablet it shows how to connect to your wireless wifi at home. Look at the start up video available on qvc on the page of the item. Under your router it will show the name of your router or network and it also gives your password.
You can also find your wifi info thru "Settings". I had to find settings to enter my correct time zone because the time was wrong, I am not familiar with Android but I am making progress. I think I pressed something too hard on the opening screen and it disappeared but I think it was just a shortcut for wallpaper.
I'm having difficulty with the smallness of the device. My finger taps don't always work or I wind up hitting the wrong thing so I will get a stylus to see if that helps.

@lovestodance wrote:Recieved mine yesterday... Was trying to get it started... My first experience with a tablet...
Have a desk top wired pc with a Verizon router.... I called Verizon today to ask if the wireless conection would work...
She told me that there was a sticker under the router that gave the key/pass phrase for WIFI connection for it..
My problem is i cannot find the list of WIFI to find out if the key pass phase is listed....
I did charge up the tablet last night and said it was 100% connected...
I did disconnect to call Verizon and after call saw the charge diminished.
Was on the phone only for 5 to 10 min...
Seems the charge does not last long at all.
My reason for getting wireless was to be able to use in any area of my home.
So now i am wondering if it was a good purchase or not?
Planning to call Le Pan tomorrow to find out how to check if my Wireless will work on the Le Pann...
Am really frustrated at this point...

The only thing in the list of wireless networks within range is the name of the network. You only have the opportunity to enter the security number when you try to connect. Do you know the name of your network (the wireless signal is called a network)? The name should be located in the same place you found the security number.
In order to connect, you need to get into the settings, find wifi, look at the list of networks, choose yours, enter the security number, select connect and you should get connected.

I ordered the LePan on this last TSV.....for $70.00 dollars...there are so many advertisements....its annoying....
Does anyone know how I can rid both tablets of the ads...I know I will probably have to pay...and I am okay with that...I just want them gone....
Thank You....

No, I mean pop-up ads...Kindle is one...Citibank another...then there are random others that show up while I am playing games...
I have playing on both tablets...(I bought two) and both of them do it...one of the tablets is for my granddaughter and I don't want her to see the "girlie" ones that pop-up...not to mention her mom will have a fit and take it away from her...its suppose to be a Christmas present...

Pure Android and modified tablets like Kindle have free apps. These apps are paid for by an ad. Some apps can be put to sleep and some removed. Please let your granddaughter's mom take care of this problem. You can find help with removing apps on YouTube.

I hope you get it figured out, Circles. I don't play games so didn't know to what you were referring. Right after mine came Tuesday, my mom fell and broke her pelvis. She is in a rehabilitative care center, and having this tablet has been worth its weight in gold since I can easily take it with me. The 8-inch size is perfect for typing with thumbs similar to texting. It does just what I need it to do, and I hope its longevity is good. For the money, the quality of photos on it is amazing. My husband has an iPad, and even he is amazed.
