Laptop screen question..

My new laptop has an issue where in one area where the black frame meets the colored area outside of the screen, you can see some light from the screen come thru in several small spots. 

 

Is this dangerous?  Can it become really loose thru use?  Can dust get inside and cause a problem with the monitor?

If possible, send it back.  If it's beyond the return time frame, contact the manufacture for warranty repair.

If it's a new laptop, return it.  You shouldn't be having any issues like that.  My laptop (HP) is over six years old and I have no such problem.

I would send it back, never heard that happen before sounds like a defect. What make computer was that? If you do not mind posting.
