LG 840G Tracfone - How Do You Move the Time Widget?

I've been trying to drag and drop the time widget from the face of my Tracfone but find I can only move it to the bottom of the screen where it still covers up my wallpaper and the Tracfone ticker tape. Can this be removed? Thanks in advance. I'm really liking this phone so far. I've been on youtube but I can't find any video about removing the time widget.
