I use my small 7" kindle for games, facebook etc. I thought I could correct a few kinks by deregistering it. Wrong. Now it doesnt accept my password or a code sent to my phone. If I use a new password it may mess up my Amazon account. How do I fix this?

Go to Amazon site and re-register it to your account!

May need all new passwords...just not sure!

I would contact Amazon tech support. They will walk you through the correct process.

Go to their website and you will be able to get ways to reach out to them for help.

My grandkids and I all have kindle e readers.  They do need to associated/registered with an Amazon account.

But we can flip them from one Amazon account to another.  Just unregister and register again.  Kids can switch to their mother's too.

I also have two Amazon accounts so I can keep the kids books out of my lists.

Can you just register again?

Deregistered - Register again

Registered?  Deregister - Register again on same or other account!
