As of last night my Kindle Fire only does horizontal. I turn iI vertically and it snaps right back to horizontal.  I turned it off completely over night.  But it's still only horizontal.  I hate it. Anyone know how to fix this?

No, but I recommend visting the website at (URL).com/kindlesupport. Logging in to that page will bring up your own Kindle devices and tech help. Once you access the page for your device, there's a menu on the left that has links to access or ask questions of the Kindle community or Contact Us to get more help.

you have accidentally hit the rotation button in the toolbar at the top of the screen. Bring down the bar and the button is on the far left. Click on it to unlock.

Thank you.  Right after I posted I found what I had done...exactly what you said.  I appreciate the bright helpful people here.

My Kindle Fire has been giving me a fit recently !  When I'm on Facebook, trying to watch a video, the little circle spins to load it up, then stops and then it says ' FACEBOOK HAS STOPPED' and takes me back to the originial opening page on the Kindle.  I have no idea why it has trouble loading videos posted on Facebook.  My regular laptop doesn't have that problem.
