I bought a Kindle Paperwhite in November.  It's my first Kindle and this is my first update.  I don't care for the new home screen layout, but it's not a big deal to me overall.

When I click My Library I see the books I've checked out from my local digital library.  They're either expired or I returned them, yet they're still there and I can't get rid of them.  Does anyone know a way around this?

Re: Kindle Paperwhite update?

My PW is an older one but try pressing on a title.  When I do that a message comes up asking me if I want to delete it.

Re: Kindle Paperwhite update?

In the Library view, press a title and a menu should pop up with options, including Add to Collection, Book Description, and Remove from Device. Press Remove from Device to delete the book from your Paperwhite Library.

I did that pre-update, but I don't see that option post-update.  It only says add to home, add to collection and book description.  If I don't figure it out this weekend I'll call Amazon next week.  I can't imagine I'm the only person would dislike this feature.

EDITED TO ADD:  I figured it out (sort of).  I had to go into my Amazon account and delete it from there.  Then sync my Paperwhite and the expired digital library books disappeared.  I don't know why they would take away the option to do that right from the Kindle.  I still may give them a call to see what they say.

If you find out please let me know!  THANKS so much.  I thought it was just me!
