I bought a Kindle from QVC a back in late July when it was a TSV. I read one book with no trouble. Then I started another one, and it jumps far ahead when I try to "turn the page" or whatever you want to call it.

I turned it off and restarted it, still have the same problem. Does anyone know how I can fix it or if it can be fixed? Impossible to read when its like this. Thinking I will have to send it back, and I'm not sure if I should exchange or just return.

Anyone else have issues or know how to fix the problem?

TIA

I have not had that specific problem, although I have had issues with downloads.  So, my first thought is that it may be the book you downloaded -- meaning that there is a problem with the download or formatting of that ebook, not a problem with your Kindle.  Maybe try downloading another book and see if you have the same problem.  Good luck!

If she did, I don't know what I did to tick her off.

She pesters me every so often.

My books do OK even I make them large print, just the page numbers go bad.

Good luck.

Are you pressing too long?  If I don't gently tap the screen, it will sometimes advance more than one page.

Amazon has kindle support where you can ask questions or read questions others wrote.  They support all Amazon products regardless where purchased.
