Did you try to "Add" the account back on your device?

I added the program back from the App Store and it is working for the moment, ahh the little annoyances in life

Huh? You added the program back to your computer after downloading again from the App Store??? Why aren't you using the Apple mail app, already installed on your computer, for yahoo email. You just need to set up your yahoo account in the Apple Mail settings. Then all of your mail will be found there were you send/receive messages.

I'm with you, Lynnj. I always use the integrated Mail on my iPad and iPhone instead of the optional apps. We can add as many different email accounts as we want, and I think it works beautifully.

I like the way the Yahoo program works and I am used to it, I already had it set up and it seemed to be needed to be refreshed.

This thread has nothing to do with my computer, it is about Mobile mail for my i phone

Huh? Both an Apple computer and an Apple iPhone (and/or iPad) all have the same Apple email app pre loaded onto the device. So my reply to you is relevant no matter what Apple equipment you are using. If you set up all of your email addresses in that app, all messages are sent to one place in one app. You don't need a yahoo specific app to access your yahoo email.

As I said before I like the way the Yahoo app works, so I use it end of story Smiley Happy

Okay, then carry on with your problems and waiting for yahoo to update their app. But keep in mind there is another solution that seems to work well for many people.
