Ipad Suggestions

There are so many bundle packages between HSN and QVC, and I've seen many posts here saying people are getting robbed and they are no deal at all, so I am asking (because I'm no expert on these but I know I want one) are any of them a good deal or is it best to just buy the Ipad and leave it at that?

What I would use it a lot for is having all my recipies handy so that I could prop it up right on my counter and refer to the recipies. I thought they pretty much all operated the same but the one on HSN says "high resolution retina display" and it goes into the amoutn of pixels, 9 times more graphics, front and rear cameras, and on and on. I just get so confused.
