No not used, but might be using wrong model number. It was the first generation of when they went to the retina display, and it was that model with the retina display. It was purchased Sept. 2012. It's not going down fast fast, just seems faster than usual, after this last charge. Also....something I thought I read here once but didn't know the final answer on....is it bad to keep it plugged into charger, once fully charged and use it that way? I've done that before, but don't do it much anymore, because I thought it might not be a good thing.

The iPad 2 does not have the retina display. That came on the next model the "New" iPad 3rd Generation. I have the iPad 2 and my husband got the New iPad 3 with Retina.
