Installing Digital Camera Disk for Setup

I tried to set up the camera disk in my computer. I get a message that it will not use with a resolution lower than 1024x768. My resolution is 1440x900. So I set my resolution to 1024x768 to see if it will install and I keep getting the same message box.

Am I doing something wrong. The manual says to just put it in the computer and follow the install. I checked when I got it making sure the camera is compatible with Vista.
