Info Please - Can't Block Text Number on Phone

I recently had to start using an upgraded tracphone and have been blocking spam numbers but there's one that the 'block number' button is faded (meaning I can't use that option). Any ideas so I don't get more texts from this random number? tia

Put the number in your contact under something like Z! Or Spam etc and then block the number from your contact list

Or another option is to hide the alerts from that number.

I block the same calls and I don't know why I continue getting them.
