In Need of New Desktop Computer

My Dell Desktop needs to retire. Bought an iPad 3. Sitting at a desktop isn't the norm anymore, but would like to get another desktop to go with the iPad. Would like an Apple desktop, but just can't justify the cost for the amount of time I'd spend on it. I'm open for suggestions. I'd like at least a 23" screen. All-In-One's would be nice. Not a gamer or download a whole lot of stuff (movies, photos, etc.). Just need something to compliment the iPad. Will be ordering Direct or Best Buy (18 mo. int. free). I know All the pitfalls of Dell, HP, and the Likes Products, but just need some other's insight as to what is best out there. Not really a "computer nerd", just a "basic computer user". THANKS
