If your Android Tracfone is bleeding data minutes...

I have my Tracfone set to utilize the WiFi settings in my home, but I have turned off the Data settings on the phone - until I make the decision to go on line...

My husband noticed his phone keep checking his email even though I had turned off the sync and checking email - still was doing this periodically 10 minutes or so...

I went into SETTINGS, or SYSTEM SETTINGS, Data or Data Usage - then click on DISABLE MOBILE DATA. or turn off.

When you decide to go online to check email/you can't get WiFi - then go to settings and turn it back on.

Probably everyone knows this, but just thought it might help a few folks like me.
