I woke up yesterday to find the font size on my iPhone is much smaller that it was when I went to bed.  Has anyone else had this happen?

I haven't noticed a difference in font size, but the font STYLE changed on the time display overnight following an update that happened about 1 month ago.  The numbers are now thicker and less stylized than they used to be.  There were numerous other changes in the way notifications appear etc...

The font size sometimes adjusts to the app you are on but if you go to settings then display there is a font size option you can adjust that with an arrow ont he bottom of the screen to make it larger.

Do all these "i" things just Auto Update, or can you turn it off?

My TV sets/android tablet I have all auto updated turned off. I want to see what is being updated because I know many problems can crop up for updates, that to me, are pretty much useless.

@hckynutjohn   You can turn it off or on as well as on all Apple computers.

Thanks everyone.  I went in to settings and changed it.  I just wondered why it happened.

Now if I could just find out why my apple Smart Keyboard just stops typing in mid word.   I have to power off the iPad and then it's OK for a while .   So annoying.  It's 31/2 years old, maybe it's 'pooping' out.

@hckynutjohn the problem is that we don't update, things may not work as well.  I always update my iphone because there are always new security updates, but I am not as quick to update my macbook because it can change the functioning, many times not for the better.

But my safari crashed a couple of times, and the Apple CS told me to upgrade the OS to Ventura.  And the font in my applications is smaller.  (Safari now working well.)

The size of the font that I am struggling with is the Mail App in my Macbook.  If someone knows how to make that font bigger, please let me know.  I googled and tried something and it didn't work.  So will continue looking for solutions.
