I just ordered my 6s+ in gold on Wednesday. I want the 64GB size and it had to be ordered. I hate having to put on my reading glasses to see the screen of my 5s so I'm hoping it'll help to have the larger phone.

Sadly, I think my case will get here before the phone does!!

@dionline when you set up your new phone, you can choose between Zoomed and Standard display. Zoomed shows larger controls and size of print. Much easier to read...however Standard shows more content on the screen, which results in smaller print. Initially I opted for Standard, but after living with it for 24 hours, I tried Zoomed and I love that one. To change configuration go to Settings -> Display & Brightness -> View.

Thanks MrsT - my phone is in and I'll be picking it up tomorrow.

I sure wish the reps at my local VZW store would have more info on the iPhones. Seems they're all Android guys - or whatever ISN'T an Apple product.

But I'm incredibly happy to have my Apple peeps on this site - thanks!!!

I got an offer from Verizon (my carrier) for $300 to upgrade to 6S from my 6, but not sure f I should do it.......my 6 is only a year old and I usually don't bite on the "S" phones......my first was the 4, I loved my 5, and my 6 is ok, but I liked the size of the 5 better.......decisions, decisions.

@dionline There are a ton of tips online for using iPhones. Simply Google iPhone 6S tips. Also, I think you'll be really be surprised how user friendly it is. Plus if you have any questions, you can always post them here...there's a lot of help here. And I'm sure the store you're buying it from will help you get started with it. Once you're up and running, you can learn the rest of it as you go. Just have fun with it. 😊

@HULAGIRL Before I upgraded to the 6S from my 5S, I googled the new contracts everyone is pushing. Basically you don't own your phone until you've paid off your loan/contract term. You set the terms based on how often you want to upgrade. Those types of contracts are great for people who like to get a new phone every year, for instance. Based on my needs, I was able to keep my standard 2 year contract with AT&T...where I keep my normal/regular monthly payment (and my unlimited data) and I simply pay the down payment for the phone I wanted (iPhone 6S 64GB), being eligible to upgrade in 24 months and owning my phone outright. I wasn't interested in the new sales promotions they're all pushing now. But based on what you need/like, they may work for you. But there's lot of info out there to help you decide what's best for you. Good luck!

Thanks MrsT - would you believe my phone didn't come in today?? It was supposed to be in Monday or Tuesday. Now I won't be able to get there 'til next Wednesday. I know he won't get his commission until I pick up my phone so I'm sure he's a bit disappointed as well - at least it's not only me!

Until next week!!!

@dionline I'm so sorry to hear about the delay! There's nothing worse than having to wait for something we're really excited to get. When I ordered my 6S, I had to wait until Oct 13 to upgrade (on a side note - why can't Apple use the same date each year to release their devices??? Oct 13 was the date I got my 4S, and so that's my ongoing contract date), my wait was only 2 weeks. My 5S was almost 8 weeks. But you'll have it soon, and then the fun begins. I'm anxiously waiting for the iPad Air 3 to be rolled out. I'm hearing rumors of March 2016...but time will tell. The IPad Pro doesn't interested me...too big, so I was disappointed when the 3 was pushed back.

Those of you that order gold, rose or whatever color -- don't you buy a protective cover for your phone?

To me it doesn't matter what color phone I have as I always have it covered for protection.

Am I missing something?  (Not trying to be snarky).  Thanks
