Cable tech today- first thing he said when he noticed their modem- this needs to be replaced for more updated one- ? Really . Mercy begged them to send someone out for 2 months but always replied- no problems seen on their end!!! Guy was here over an hour. He would not disconnect our router. He left the old cords or whatever the name from the old modem. Had trouble on their end getting the phone reconnected. WiFi kept reading not connecting and I would not let him leave- he kept saying just give it time to update. DH upset and pacing the floor. Guy could not answer DH questions about his computer. Looking for someone to come to house and help DH. Dh said guy messed up his Wifi to the printer because he can't print anything. As the soap opera continues. Southern Bee

(((@SouthernBee))), I'm sorry it's turned into such a production. Sending prayers and positive vibes your way, hoping the tech support will get their act together and fix the problems. Times like these I wish we were all living close by so we could just come over there, sit side-by-side, and set things right.❤️

@SouthernBee @dooBdoo , my latest issue is my Brother laser printer.
I am trying to update my drivers/firmware before I update myy MacBook Pro and Ipad and iphone XR. got the MacBook done last night. Trial and error all the way. Ipad Pro won't update so far and neither does my phone...
If I ever did an update seamlessly I think I would fall over. LM

@Lilysmom @dooBdoo : We just need to laugh and keep trying. DH called cable company yesterday. The tech helped with the printer issue 😁😁 happy for him- me😳😳 well the WiFi drops and when I look in settings - WiFi not connected. I turn the WiFi off for a few seconds and then turn it back on. Everything ok for about 10 minutes and then WiFi drops again. Southern Bee

Printer firmware/drivers all up to date. Now for new software. How much do you want to bet I will be back moaning about that??? Not much I'm sure...LM

@SouthernBee , I updated my ipad yesterday and chose dark mode. So far no problems. The only thing left to do is my iphone XR. Then I hope Apple does something else for awhile while I get used to the new systems. LM

Why don't you reset back to factory specs and start over? I don't get it. Resetting an iPad is so simple and easy.
