IPAD HELP!

Ok received my new ipad 3rd gen. 16gb, not from q, right out the box having issues setting up. I am not that tech savy but it seems like it should be easy. I cannot get past the language choice screen, english is checked but the "next" button top right corner is grey'd out cannot go any further have tried turning off and on no change am I missing something or what any ideas?
