My dad bought a Dell last fall which came with the free 4 yr. Premier PC Tech support. Accordingly to the brochure - no registration required. When he needed computer assistance for an internet issue - he placed a phone call. The company he got was IMAX and not Premier PC. Anybody have this same issue? My concern is that additional monies were spent on 'security' which comes with free tech support. I thought we already had free tech support. Any shared experiences with IMAX is greatly appreciated.

I've never heard of ""no registration required"" for any type of support. I always register all of my products or services.

You could lookup this tech company online. It could have hidden costs for some services.
