I just can't get everything working at the same time. I have internet and my Kindle works. However, I cannot get Alexa to work. My router is a Linksys. I've tried using my app on my LG android phone. When I try to get Alexa to work it says "No internet connection". How can this be if my computer and my Kindle works? When I click on my wi-fi icon, it says that I am connected, but my guest linksys is not connected. Why would Alexa not detect the wi-fi or is it trying to detect the guest linksys? And, if so, why?
I can't even figure out if I should call Amazon, LinkSys, or who I should call.
Can anyone help me straighten this out? I miss my Echo. I had it disconnected for a while when I was taking care of my brother and now I can't get it to work now.
Thanks for any help you may be able to give me.

Amzn has or had some user forums try those for help, search "amazon user forums"
don't have an alex or dot
but I would assume at some point user has to login somewhere with an account connected to yr amzn account
be sure all the devices are on the same wifi?
sometimes a router just needs a reset, basically unplug wait and reboot

I don't have an Echo but your wifi network should be password protected, so is the issue that you haven't set up the Echo to connect to your network and entered the password?

Don't feel bad. I just got a new phone that will text and has internet. I sent a text to my daughter today. She got the text, but she said I called her during a meeting that she was in and that I wouldn't say anything. I didn't call her. I told her it was the phone. She called me and I couldn't figure out how to answer the phone. It said to swipe the phone symbol. I did that, but nothing. What the heck? Also, I can only use the phone when I'm in town, because we get no reception at home. My daughter and Grandson called me tonight on my landline and had a pretty good laugh. 😁😁😁😁
I might go back to my flip phone. The only time I ever turned it on was when I needed to call someone. 😊

Each device you own must initially be manually connected to your home network. I don't have an Echo or Dot so, I don't know the steps required to connecte to your network. I'm assuming your network is passcode protected and it may be the Echo doesn't know the security passcode. Try to connect your device like you did when you first got it.
