I am disgusted with Acer

I got the Acer Aspire at Christmas; not from the Q. I was a great little machine until March when it started getting glichy. Wiped it clean and reloaded everything. Did it again in June. This week I was doing some work and suddenly a note popped up telling me the hard drive was ready to fail and back up all my work. I don't keep anything on that computer since June I use a flash drive for all important info. So at least it is under warranty but I have to pay to ship it back to them for the fix. They won't send me a new hard drive. The hard drive is Western Digital which we no longer purchase either because they have failed on us 3 other times in the past. I am now working on my ancient Dell that hasn't failed me yet; it is just heavy and slow. Just venting I hate it when my electronics fail me.
