I am an idiot for ordering these products from QVC

First the Dell laptop goes. I don't mean to be repetitive but I mail it back and pay $199. They call me later and say the motherboard is gone pay another $320. What am I to do? Already paid $200 - could cost me even more if I take it locally.

So the laptop arrives today. I open it and there is a Dear Form letter telling me my hard drive also needs to be replaced. Dell says they did not have it in stock and it will be mailed to me. Oh, and good luck, I have to install it or get it installed. This is the first time I have been made aware of this problem. There only call to me was for more money.

Sure I can call their customer support in India where someone will read the manual instructions to me and put me on hold countless times - as they have in the past.

I am angry but I decide better back up the computer again before I seek help with the hard drive installation. I plug in the CLICKFREE that I purchased from QVC and discover IT WILL NOT BACK UP PROGRAMS OR OPERATING SYSTEMS. That's right, this $140 piece of *,* only backs up photos, email etc. WHAT KIND OF BACKUP equipment is that?

They made it seem so easy when it was demonstrated, just do a restore and everything is there .... EXCEPT YOUR PROGRAM FILES - which are the most important things.

That does it. No more listening to the babbling hosts and experts on QVC. I have been burned and badly.
