I got the 8" Fire tablet a few months ago now when it was their Today's special ($49 at that time) and I like it fine. I have their older 10" Fire tablet also and it's great.

The Caseable case is kind of a joke (at least mine was) as it's got a very cardboard feel to it and the printing on it was the quality of bad Sunday comics and not photo quality. I've already thrown the case away. It was just junk. The tablet's nice though.

Caseable lets you send them a photo or photos to print on the case. They printed mine upside down and despite the image sent being very high quality and high pixel count, it looked really bad. To say it was Sunday comics quality is kind of an insult to Sunday comics as it was worse than that. It felt like cheap cardboard, the image was upside down, and the print quality was horrible, but other than that it was fine. Caseable reached out to me after posting my review wanted me to update it, but the case was just junk. If you think you're getting a quality case, you're not. (At least I didn't.) If you want a nice 10" Fire tablet it's a good deal. Just don't expect too much from the case. You can still try and redeem the case coupon, it won't cost you anything, and maybe you'll have better luck, but my case was horrible. Love the Fire tablets, hate the Caseable case.

I have one as a back up in case my IPad finally gives out.

It is okay.  I have used it a few times, but prefer my old, out of date battery draining Ipad better.

The Fire is great if you want it to read Amazon books or want to read email,or surf the web but I find  it clumsy to have as my only tablet.

If you need a low priced bargain tablet, the price is worth it. Go for it. It just doesn't perform like an Apple tablet that can be used for school or business much like a PC.

We bought 2 last year and are quite pleased. I have bad eyesight and really appreciate the 10 " size. Ours work well with Alexa. My husband doesn't use his as much as I do (for some reason he likes his phone best ) I keep his in our bathroom . I listen to my music list or have Audible books read while I soak in Epson salts bath.

They are sturdy. I have dropped mine and no problem. I think because of this I have trouble pressing hard enough with stylus as the glass is pretty much indestructible.

I loved the free covers . I picked the one with lovely pink peonies that they offered for mine. I made a collage of our pets --present -- and those that we had to say good bye to for my husband's and it turned out beautifully.

I watched a bit of the presentation and it sounded like a great price .

I suppose it all depends of what one needs or wants.

@goldensrbest

I brought a Fire 10 HD plus tablet and the Amazon cover before Prime Day with a CC promotion.

I can stream Prime Video, Music and the Amazon  store even has an app for my cable company.

The tablets will run many apps right out of the box. You can encourage it to run the Google  Play Store. A search will show you the steps to modify the device.

One of my tablets was purchased from QVC with the free case. I found a printed case. It was a plastic shell, but for free just fine.

I gave the case with a tablet as a gift.

I had to wait 3-4 weeks for the case.

I usually buy Moko case with my Fire tablets, but

reviews said the case was small, so I brought an Amazon product.

 A YouTube channel "My Next Tablet" has a nice review of this device.

A nice device at a great price and Flex Pay.

I have a 8" Fire. I never use it. I prefer my Chromebook.

I have an older FIre tablet and I use it mostly for music and for videos.  It does take pretty good pics and films!!

Any way to get these on my MacBook Air?

@bargainsgirl

An Amazon Prime customer could use Amazon photo on your two devices. You can use the cloud to share the photos.

You could always just email them to yourself and then open the email on the MacBook Air and save them there.
