@x Hedge  An update...I also have a backup Tracfone, the LG Sunset, which runs Lollipop and uses AT&T.  My primary phone, the Samsung Galaxy Sky, runs Marshmallow and uses Verizon.  Your tricks are not working on my Samsung, but they're working on my LG Sunset.  I didn't care for the notifications option, so I unchecked that box, but I do see the little blue box in my upper bar.  I wonder why it doesn't work on my Samsung.  Anyway, thanks again for the info!

I am getting the flash when I get a text, but no sound!!  This just started today.  I checked all of my settings...everything is on!!  Have you heard of this before with the Fiesta LG and any suggestions?  Thank you.
