Just to shorten this I had to do a system restore. When it restored I noticed Norton Icon was in the red. It apparently fixed itself and then I noticed that my google search, in the center of the home page, wouldn't work. I noticed the additional search engine on the right of the address bar said Norton. I can't get a drop down for this bar to change it and when I got into open it the only thing listed is Norton. I'm assuming this happened after the restore and it locked out the google search on the center of the firefox home page. Can anyone help me to get the google search to work. And get rid of the Norton on top and put back the google search there.
